IP Kane County Cougars vs. Quad City River Bandits autograph recap 7/22/15

Geneva, IL-- I did great, I love getting minor league autographs so much more than the Major Leaguers every time I go I forget how willing these players are to sign and how you never get turned down and players always do multiples and are just very nice. The main reason I came here is because of Alex Bregman, the #2 overall pick in this years draft and 5 year veteran of Team USA, he is also one of the nicest most humble players I have ever met, signed 14 cards to me and said he would have signed more if I brought it, he also thanked me for waiting all 15 innings for him this was apparently the longest game in franchise history for them. I also waited an hour and a half after the game for Kane County's manager, former Chicago Cubs and Gold Glove winner, Mark Grudzielanek but like I said he was the last one to leave and I waited a while so they gave me free tickets for the game tomorrow and by they I mean him and hitting coach, Vince Harrison. I was going tomorrow anyways because I saw Morgan Ensberg in the dugout and I have some cards. Here is what I got:

Daily Total: 37

Kane County: 23

Quad Cities (Bregman): 14

Cody Geyer: Cody was very nice before the game when he signed, signed for everyone but he needs to work on that signature... Thanks Cody!

Tom Jameson: Tom signed my card, he was wearing a pull over but I recognized him from South Bend last year and he signed one and was very nice!

Brad Keller; Brad was the starting pitcher and signed one when he came out to warm up.

Zac Curtis: Zac was the first half minor league pitcher of the year for the D-Backs and was easy to recognize with the goggles and the hair. Thanks Zac

Nick Baker: I missed Nick coming out because someone else came out at the same time who I got so I went over to the bullpen and got him.

Colin Bray: I heard impressive things about this guy but he did not have a good game, but he signed so I can't complain. Thanks Colin!

Victor Reyes: Victor was cool, he speaks no English though but he came over and signed my two cards, you would think a guy as big as him would have more pop in his bat. Thanks Victor

Doug Bochtler: Doug signed one, he was the pitching coach last year in South Bend so I remembered him.
