Daily Total: 128 Cards Signed
Luken Baker was one of the first ones that I got when I snuck in early and like in the Home Run Derby in Minnesota he also dropped some bombs hitting the Toyota sign and winning the Under Armour Home-Run Derby. He was nice and I hear scouts like him better as a pitcher so well see I don't know why anybody wouldn't want him as a hitter he is a beast.
Seth Beer is only a Junior but he seemed as one of the most mature hitters there. He signed my two cards when he was with his dad who was there. I hope he comes back next year for the game he seemed really good.
Chris was a great hitting catcher hitting a double which I think could have been a triple if he wasn't a Catcher. I had ordered some actual cards of him but they didn't come in time. Thanks Chris and good luck.
Hunter Bowling was one of the first ones that I got and he had a nice autograph and took his time on them and they came out well. He is really tall and he was easy to recognize. Thanks Hunter.
When I saw Beau pitch I wondered if he was a gymnast because he has the wildest delivery as you can see in the Area Code card. His delivery reminded me kind of like Tim Lincecum. He was very nice when signing too.
Daz is the son of Mike Cameron long time MLB outfielder. Daz had a great game but didn't play much and was interviewed at the same time as his father on MLB Network. I saw Daz last year so he is a returning player. Hi is projected to be the #1 or #2 overall pick next years draft. Thanks Dazmon!
Mike Cameron's son was playing so he came to watch him play and I got him on the field after the game and he was wearing a pink shirt. He looked to be in great shape and he looked like he could still be playing if he wanted to. Thanks Mike good addition.
Sean Casey is really the Mayor he talked to me for 10 minutes during the home run derby and talked about every one of my cards and was showing them to Ripken and the other coaches. He was a blast to get he was so nice. I loved watching him on the game on TV and on MLB Network other days. Thanks Sean.
All of Roger's kids names start with a K so Kody was playing this year in the stands were Kacy who played in 2011 and Koby who played MiLB were there and I did not see Kory but he might have been there. Kody hit some laser shots to the outfield and looked very good as a player. He does not pitch like his father.
Roger was happy to sign but did it secretively and he looked ripped still. He was sitting with his wife Debbie who was famous for also taking HGH for a swimsuit photo shoot. He started turning people down after I got him so I am glad I did this is a huge addition to my collection.
Justin Cohen was really nice and funny he was one of the coolest guys that I got he really liked my customs and said he had never seen the Florida Burn Orange 1959 Topps before and he made some good defensive played and showed his strong arm behind the plate throwing out runners. Thanks Justin and good luck!
Wyatt was easlily the best true catcher he had a strong arm and great defense behind the plate. When I got him he was walking away then a bunch of people swarmed over and I got him and he thought my customs were cool and was in game mode. Thanks Wyatt!
Devin Davis was in the Junior Home-Run derby at the MLB All-star game and in the Home-Run Derby at the Under Armour game and hit some shots but didn't win eithier time Luken Baker got the sweep. Devin was a really big guy and I hope the Cubs draft him.
Kyle Dean was a little harder to get, a coach asked me who I was waiting for so I told him and he brought Dean over and he signed my cards. Kyle was a big part of Team USA and I was glad to get these cards signed.
The reason I have three of the 1952 is because I printed one and when my dad sorted them he lost the first one so I printed another and I didn't give it enough time to dry so it scuffed so I printed another and when I brought it down the first one was found so I have three. Gray has a thick southern accent and when I asked him what he thought of being a Under Armour All-American and he said "its better than I deserve.'' I hope he does well in the future. Thanks Gray and good luck.
Mitchell is one of the most promising players in this game. If I had to predict one player who would make the Majors it would be Mitchell he just acted and seemed like he belonged here and I was glad to get him on a Bowman as well. Thanks Mitchell and good luck.
Charlie was the very first autograph I got when I walked in. My dad recognized him and he didn't speak the whole time but I thanked him and then I moved on to getting more autographs. His son Ke'Bryan played in the game and later signed my cards. Thanks Charlie!
Ke'Bryan is the son of Charlie Hayes and is a highly rated prospect in High School.I really like the photo on the 1952 card it makes it look authentic. He also has a very good signature and took his time signing them. Thanks Ke'Bryan and good luck.
Wes Helms was easliy the hardest guy to get. I couldnt get him at all last year and I got him after the game and he came over and signed my two cards. I would have handed him more but there were alot of people and I didn't have much arm room. Thanks Wes!
Starling Heredia was hilarious! Somebody from the DPL was there and I kept calling him over and he would look at me and smile and wave then keep walking then the DPL executive called him over and he signed my Bowman and walked off then I showed him the others and he signed them in a little kid handwriting. Thanks Starling! Oh and by the way he is younger than me (so he says) he is 15 years old, making him the biggest 15 year old I have ever seen.
Juan Hillman was one of the first guys that I got when I snuck in. He recognized me from my Instagram account and said that I chose his 'ugly' picture for the 1952 Topps. I just liked his dreds and thought they looked different so I like them. Thanks Juan and good luck.
Bryan Hoeing was also one of the first that I got. I know I said that about a lot of guys but its true, when I got in I got a ton of guys including him. I thought he had a very nice signature and he took his time signing it. Thanks Bryan and good luck in the Draft.
Justin Hooper was just a big guy. He is 6'7" but I wouldn't believe if he was actually taller or if he is done growing. Justin is a very hard throwing pitcher reaching the high 90's in velocity and was a dominating presence on the mound. Thanks Justin and good luck.
Ryan is a returning player to the Under Armour game as he played last year. I got to get Ryan's autograph this year and last year just like Daz Cameron and he was just a really big guy. Bigger than I remember last year. He has a cool autograph that stays consistent from last year. Thanks Ryan and good luck.
Alonzo was nice I got him when he was out stretching. I saw his dad and I am just taking a wild guess here but I think his name is Alonzo Jones Sr.? Just guessing. Alonzo made some good and poor plays in the field but looked like he knew he needed to be there while playing. Thank Alonzo!
Cole looked really good at the game. I recognized him easily as he looks just like his Perfect Game photo. am not sure how his last name is pronounced as I have heard it different ways I think it is how its spelled but I don't know. Thanks Cole and good luck.
Anthony Molina was only a Junior so hopefully he will be back at the game next year. He tattooed the Under Armour Logo into his neck, I think that's kind of the reason he is at the game. He was easy to recognize as he looks just like his cards. Thanks Anthony and good luck this year and next year.
Kyle Molnar was also a very early signing for me. I love these Bowmans so I am glad to get one when ever I can. He is a projected 1st round draft pick in 2015. He was very nice when signing and has a plus autograph. Thanks Kyle and good luck.
Ryan was the MVP of the game so that means he played well. He got some hits and RBI's and was easy to recognize as he is a splitting image of his cards. I also got a Bowman so this was a success. Thanks Ryan and good luck.
Kyler Murray is the first player to be selected to the Under Armour All-America Baseball and Football game and is a Texas High School Quarter Back so he is a god in as High School football is like a religion in Texas. I honestly think if he Wanted he could be a 1st round draft pick in 2015 for baseball and have a over slot signing bonus or wait a couple years in college to be a NFL Quarter Back. We'll see what happens with Kyler but I wish him all the best. Thanks for taking a two hour flight after football practice to come play in a baseball game.
Josh Naylor is one of my favorite players from the game I would compare him to Prince Fielder a big stong power hitting first baseman. I had ordered some actual cards of him but they never came in time so I'll send to him when he is drafted next year. If you notice the spot on the top of the Gypsy Queen where it is discolored it is sweat he was soaked with sweat. Thanks Josh and good luck.
I just thought Mike had a very nice autograph and was also one of the first ones when I got in to the stadium I realize I am saying that for alot of guys but its true when I got in I got 60 cards in the first five minutes. He put his number on the cards in a cool way. Thanks Mike and good luck.
Demi Orimoloye 1952 Topps Perfect Game custom baseball card
Demi was really strong and mature for his age it seemed like he was well polished as a baseball player. A Canadian national player like Josh Naylor. I got Demi when he was out in uniform stretching before the game. Thanks Demi and good luck.
Rolando Pino coached last year and helped speaking to the Dominican players. He grew a beard since the last time he was at Wrigley. Thanks Rolando.
Nick signed for me before he hit in the Home-Run Derby and I love getting a Cubs card signed even though he is not even drafted yet. It would be cool if he isn't drafted by the Cubs that would make this card unique or if he is drafted by the Cubs I would be one step ahead of the game. Thanks Nick.
Cal Raleigh is the most baby-faced player in the game but I have to remember he is still in High School and I got a Bowman and he has a really nice signature too. Cal was a good hitter hitting a double it was kind of an error but smart base running. Thanks Cal and good luck.
Franklin Reyes along with Starling Heredia has a little kid signature but it is really cool you can read it unlike others. His brother Franmil Reyes is a Minor Leaguer in the Padres organization. Franklin was very strongly built and is available to sign in 2015. Thanks Franklin!
Austin Riley signed my three cards including a Bowman. I like his signature and I think the 1970 was one of my coolest cards made. Thanks Austin!
Bill Ripken is the three year raining champion of the Under Armour game. He was talking to me with Sean Casey about my customs and was hilarious during the MLB Network Broadcast going back and forth with Sean Casey. Thanks Bill.
Brendan Rodgers is currently the #1 High School prospect in the 2015 Draft. He has a very cool signature in the 1952 card. He signed for me before the game while stretching and playing catch in uniform and liked my card. Thanks Brendan lets see if you could go #1.
I believe he was the closest player to Wrigley Field being from Indiana. With his long curly blond hair and height he was easy to recognize and happy to sign. He is a projected 1st round draft pick. Thanks Ashe and good luck.
Yes, Cole is the younger brother of Carson Sands; 2013 Under Armour All-American Alumni and Cubs Draft Pick. Carson looks like his brother and is a USA Alum like his brother and looks a lot like his brother so he was easy to recognize. He wasn't a bad hitter either when he took BP. I found this picture of him signing for me on Twitter so I added it in to the post. Thanks Cole.
Sati recognized me immediately from Instagram when I called him over to sign before the game. He told me he would pitch in the 6th inning which he did and was a wild pitcher he threw hard but not accurately but he got the outs he needed and scared a lot of batters he faced. Thanks Sati and good luck.
Nicholas Shumpert is the son of Terry Shumpert former MLB infielder. When I got his autograph I asked him if his father was there and he pointed him out and I later got him to sign as well. Nicholas has a rough game in the field but looked like an impressive ball player. Terry isn't the only MLB bloodlines as Mookie Betts is related to him. Thanks Nicholas and good luck.
Terry Shumpert 1995 Topps Kansas City Royals baseball card
Terry looked to be in great shape for a guy hasn't played in the Major Leagues in 10 years he looked like he does in these cards, he hasn't aged a day. Terry was talking to Charlie Hayes about Mookie Betts who is in his family. He also added in a bible verse to the cards. Thanks Terry.
Matt 6:33, But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
Logan (LT) "Anthony" Tolbert 1960 Fleer Perfect Game custom baseball card
I have to be honest I did not know what to call him on the cards so I just went with the full name I saw on Baseball Factory and Perfect Game. He went by LT Tolbert during the game and was kind of hard to get to sign but he did. Thanks Tolbert!
When everybody else got in and getting autographs was chaotic I called Kyle over and climbed on the dugout and handed him my four cards he went down in the dugout and signed them and it threw it up to me and it was a nice pain free score. Thanks Kyle and good luck.
Corey was one of the first I got and put his full name on the Bowman and initialed the customs which is his usual signature he does so I got lucky that he full named the Bowman. He was also the starting pitcher for the game and did well after loading the bases. Thanks Corey and good luck.
That's the recap for the 2014 Under Armour Baseball Factory All-American game all the players were great signers and I hope to continue to be great signers in the future as they are the future of the MLB and will be top Draft picks, International Free Agents, and pro baseball players. Thanks guys you are the best.
