Geneva, IL--- Great time back in Kane County got some more Bregman and I got some Wei-Chieh Huang who played in the futures game this year and I got Morgan Ensberg who is roving with the Astros and some cool customs of guys I got yesterday. I got to thank Vince Harrison and Mark Grudzielanek for the free tickets. Great game I wish I could go to more Minor League games but I really enjoy the time I do spend there! Here is what I got:

I was planning on getting these cards signed when I went to Lansing last season but I did not see him so I mailed everything and he only sent this back but its okay. I hear Shane has been having a breakout season with Lansing this year, too bad I cannot make it back there... Now off to my second day in Kane County! Thanks Shane!

IP Kane County Cougars vs. Quad City River Bandits autograph recap 7/22/15

Geneva, IL-- I did great, I love getting minor league autographs so much more than the Major Leaguers every time I go I forget how willing these players are to sign and how you never get turned down and players always do multiples and are just very nice. The main reason I came here is because of Alex Bregman, the #2 overall pick in this years draft and 5 year veteran of Team USA, he is also one of the nicest most humble players I have ever met, signed 14 cards to me and said he would have signed more if I brought it, he also thanked me for waiting all 15 innings for him this was apparently the longest game in franchise history for them. I also waited an hour and a half after the game for Kane County's manager, former Chicago Cubs and Gold Glove winner, Mark Grudzielanek but like I said he was the last one to leave and I waited a while so they gave me free tickets for the game tomorrow and by they I mean him and hitting coach, Vince Harrison. I was going tomorrow anyways because I saw Morgan Ensberg in the dugout and I have some cards. Here is what I got:

Colin Bray: I heard impressive things about this guy but he did not have a good game, but he signed so I can't complain. Thanks Colin!

Victor Reyes: Victor was cool, he speaks no English though but he came over and signed my two cards, you would think a guy as big as him would have more pop in his bat. Thanks Victor

Alex Rios: Alex signed going onto the bus and was incredibly nice which is shocking because he is one of the hardest graphs in baseball usually he signed for everyone and told me I had a cool card. Very cool!

Luke Hochevar: Luke signed for me getting onto a cab he did one and gave me a beautiful signature better than anyone I have ever seen wrote out every letter... Or not but that't what his signature is and he signed for me so its all cool!

Dale Sveum: Dale signed going onto the bus and he was 1 per for everyone else but he did 2 for me. He was a good signing manager with the Cubs and I miss him on the north side... Thanks Dale!

Brandon was super chill I loved his story last year after he was drafted in the first round out of TCU and pitched in the College World Series then went on to pitch in the World Series for the Royals, he signed some cards TTM sent to Spring Training which you can read about here. Well anyways Brandon was one of the most down to earth players I've ever met he signed all 3 of my cards and asked if there was anything else I wanted signed. Thanks for everything B-Finny!

IP Chicago Cubs vs. Miami Marlins + a Hall of Famer at Wrigley Field Autograph recap on the 4th of July 7/4/15

Chicago, IL--- Today looked like it was going to be a bust because I couldn't find the Marlins hotel but then I got to the stadium and I graphed players coming in on the bus and in cabs and I got a few Marlins but when I got in the stadium I got a few more and some I have wanted for a long time. I got a lot of Cubs post game but security was really tight because everyone was allowed to stay in the stadium for the post game firework show so a lot of guys signed one or none at all. And I got Ryan Dempster during the game he was on the concourse and I got Smoltz after the game, I am glad I brought the card I didn't even realize it was a FOX game so it turned out pretty good I like getting Hall of Famers. Here is what I got:

Clayton Richard: Clayton made his Cubs Debut today and wouldn't sign when he got off of his van to enter the stadium but after the game he signed for me and another kid, he would have skipped me if I didn't have his card he didn't want to sign. He pitched a great game too!

Tsuyoshi Wada: Tsuyoshi signed one after the game which is funny because hes always signed everything I have but he had a mean security guard with him who told him not to sign at all but he did so thanks Tsuyoshi!

Manny Ramirez: Manny always hooks it up for me every time he sees me he has a big smile on his face and he always signs for me, never turned me down ever and this is a really cool card too so I am happy to get this done and I know he doesn't have a good signature but this is a better one. Thanks Man Ram!

Ryan Dempster: Ryan signed 5/5 for me when I was walking around during the 9th inning I just saw him standing there and he signed all my cards and was extremely nice as usual, one of the nicest most generous players to ever put on a Cubs uniform. Thanks Ryan!

John Smoltz: I got John after the game in which he broadcasted for FOX I saw him come down the stairs from the broadcast booth and he signed my card and it is a really cool jersey card!

Dan Haren: Dan said he wouldn't sign outside the stadium for me so when I got in the stadium he just saw me and came right over we just made eye contact I didn't even ask him he just came over and signed 3 cards for me which was super cool because I have wanted him for a very long time so this is great!

Danny signed 1/3 c/o the Cleveland Indians in a few weeks he didn't return the other cards at all but signed this one for me. Danny is a good pitcher for the Indians and I didn't manage to get him at the hotel so I am happy to get him now I just wish he used a thicker sharpie. Thanks Danny!
